Hedera's Results - STUDY THE WYOMING STABLECOIN SCORING

full image - Repost: Hedera's Results - STUDY THE WYOMING STABLECOIN SCORING (from Reddit.com, Hedera's Results - STUDY THE WYOMING STABLECOIN SCORING)
This Wyoming Stablecoin Scoring sheet is a TREASURE TROVE of great information about what future major adopters think is important, and what they will be looking at when adopting. This document should be STUDIED by Hedera to EXCEL in all these areas! READ THE LINKED DOC!The listed metrics and qualifiers are likely very similar what ALL major governments, enterprises, institutions, etc will be looking at to varying degrees (I'm sure some differences, but at its core, this is the kind of stuff). They will likely all have their own scoring systems, but they are all likely to have similar concepts about what matters to them. Focusing these areas and scoring highly will increase future adoption GREATLY. They are going to score blockchains side-by-side. No chain will be able to hide behind obscurity and hype. This is the smart money. The well researched money. The BIG MONEY. True apples-to-apples comparisons of chains, with a score at the end and winners determined. STUDY UP HEDERA (and HBARbarians)! Some interesting notes: - It seems like Hedera was involved in an earlier round, but was rejected, was re-evaluated, and is now approved. From the way things are worded, it seems like it had to do with the category "Vendor Supported" - which my guess was that this had to do with how well they work with approved vendor LayerZero (link below), as well as other approved vendors (link below) like State Street, Northern Trust, Franklin Advisors, Van Eck, etc. Their definition "Vendor Supported" says - "The blockchain is supported or will be supported within the next two (2) quarters by vendors engaged for the purposes of Token Development, Blockchain Infrastructure, and Financial Audit & Attestation. Note: exceptions may be made for foundations willing to provide these development services, pending Commission approval." - Vendor Support is a thing they reference a lot, and seems to be one of their most important categories. Either way, Hedera integrated with LayerZero in October 2024, so I don't know if that had anything to do with the initial rejection and now passing. It also may have to do with the recent integrations with Swarm, Lloyd's, State Street, etc. It also may have to do with Hashspheres being announced in March 2025 (also noted in their chart).- Many in the "Binary Results" have the note "No new notes. Criteria met during initial evaluation." I'm guessing that this has to do with the University of Wyoming - Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation Paper (link below). They probably used this as their initial reference for 15 Blockchains (Hedera not included).- Chains must first pass the Binary (Yes/No) Categories. Then after that, they move to the Scoring Categories (+3, +2, +1, 0, -1, -2) (Max Score 41).- Notable losers/DQ's (did not pass Binary) - Aleo, Algorand, Canton, Cardano, Cosmos, EOS, ICP, Immutable, Lightning, Liquid, Mantra, Monero, NEAR, Polkadot, Ripple, Stacks, Tezos, XPR, zCash- Notable losers/DQs (passed Binary, not approved after Scoring) - Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana, Stellar, Sui- Winners after Scoring and Judgement for the pilots - Aptos, Sei, HederaWHERE HEDERA DID WELL (Scores +3)- Network Stability - 3- Fees - 3- Txn Finality - 3Additional Concerns (Scores 0, -1, -2) (Zero is GOOD here)- Entity Activity (lawsuits, etc) - 0- Team Activity (lawsuits, etc) - 0- Technical Formidability - 0- Network Availability - 0- Bug Bounties - 0- Codebase Maintenance - 0WHERE HEDERA NEEDS SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT (Scores +2)- Block Time - 2 (idk how u get a 3 on finality and a 2 on block time tho?)- Interoperability - 2- Smart Contract/Programmability - 2- Use Cases - 2- Existing Partnerships - 2- Emerging Market Trends - 2- Foundation Support - 2WHERE HEDERA NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT (according to the scores +1, 0)- Active Users - 0 - TVL - 1 - Stablecoin Market Cap - 0- TPS - 0- Privacy - 1NOTHING CATEGORY- Wyoming Domicile - 0 (I think this is just a "bonus points" type thing).HEDERA FINAL SCORE: 25As I said, I think this is a great example of how Governments, Institutions, Enterprises, Businesses, etc etc will decide what chain they will use. Score all blockchains side by side by these kinds of metrics. READ THE SELECTION CRITERIA DOCUMENT! PAY ATTENTION! Great job winning the pilot here Hedera, LETS CONTINUE TO IMPROVE! The guidance for where to improve is right here in front of you, and they are very doable!- HBARbarian Out.
