Been interested in Stellar since 2017 when a coworker started reintroducing me to crypto. Like many people I missed out over and over on getting in early… So I currently hold XLM, nothing crazy, but I’ve just held on to that one since, and seeing the utility with the speed, low fees, and cross border payments easily made me able to easily see a future for it.Oddly enough, the guy never really mentioned Ripple, just Stellar, Cardano (which I hold), Monero, and Iota. I’m trying to figure out in fact which one is better or worth holding long term. From what I understand that Ripple has much more institutional trust and name recognition.Obviously I care about the utility and decentralization of crypto, but I’m just a guy and everyone wants to make money; wouldn’t Ripple being trusted by banks and used by banks make it more likely to be profitable, especially long term. Does anyone think XLM will really be able to keep up? Are there any major differences that might keep them both around and be profitable? Thanks if you read it all
