full image - Repost: What is the viability of mining Monero? (from Reddit.com, What is the viability of mining Monero?)
i not experienced with monero(and with any other bitcoins) but i have mutiple computers running full nodes, so i decided to do some test to get more experience with then. The thing is want to mine monero in my personal computer because is the only capable of handling this work, i want to keep it running for atleast 2 days in a minimal enviroment, the cpu is a Ryzen 5 4500 that usually operates at 35 to 80(in maximun stress) celsius, and a RX5500XT gpu that runs around 40 to 75 celsius, here a overview of the system:GPU: RX 5500 XT 4gb | avg_temp=35 celsius - max_temp=80C(100% usage)CPU: Ryzen 5 4500 | avg_temp=40 celsius - max_temp=75C(100% usage)RAM: Ddr4 16GB - operating at 3000MHZis there any real risk of doing that, like can some piece of the computer stop working? i not expecting to get anything with that i just want to get experience
