Usage of offline wallet for XMR.

Hello everyone, would like some help on setting up a Monero Cold/hard wallet, but I'm having some questions about how it works, hope you can help me...1- would a hard wallet like Trezor or Ledger be a good option for cold storage?2- in terms of security, is a paper wallet safer than a hardware wallet?3- I've seen some tutorials on how to create your own Monero hard wallet by using a USB stick, tails and installing the GUI wallet. In this case, wouldn't the GUI wallet be a hot wallet, even if the "computer" you installed it on is turned off?4- if nÂș 3 makes sense, creating a new wallet on my everyday PC and then logging off of it would be the same as having a cold storage, right?5- regarding paper wallets, when I want to spend I would import it on my GUI wallet on PC. Then after that, when logging off, does the wallet stays "hot" or to spend again I would need to write the spend keys once again?Sorry for the dumbness and thank you for your time.
