Monero Removed from 73 Exchanges: Which is Your Preferred Exchange Without KYC Currently?

<a target="_blank" href="A couple of years ago, Monero was available on 51 exchanges. Now there are only 73 left. Binance removed it in 2024. OKX did too. And with MiCA in Europe and restrictions in Dubai, things don't look like they're going to improve. If we want to use Monero to protect our privacy, relying on exchanges that force us to verify our identity (KYC) doesn't make sense. Instant exchanges without KYC are the only real alternative for now, but many people don't even know they exist or don't trust them because they're unfamiliar with them. The good news is that blockchain activity has increased by 30% since the removals began. People are migrating to decentralized solutions. The bad news is that we need more competition and visibility for these services. If Monero ends up relying on only 4 or 5 exchanges, we risk them being censored or forced to add KYC later on.So I'm curious: which KYC-free exchanges are you currently using?" title="Monero Removed from 73 Exchanges: Which is Your Preferred Exchange Without KYC Currently?">full image</a> <strong> - Repost: Monero Removed from 73 Exchanges: Which is Your Preferred Exchange Without KYC Currently?</strong> (<i>from Reddit.com, Monero Removed from 73 Exchanges: Which is Your Preferred Exchange Without KYC Currently?</i>) <br><blockquote> A couple of years ago, Monero was available on 51 exchanges. <a target="_blank" href="So i have the Monero GUI on a Ubuntu pc running the p2pool mini. Im only running at avg 1900H/s. Not a lot but I was getting .0002 at the minimum every other day. Havent gotten anything in 12days. Is it just the worst luck? Checked observer and it says my p2pool is running on the old version but I updated monero to 0.18.5.0 soon as it came out. Changed the start up flags to that folder and deleted the old folder. I have a Win11 pc I also run the Monero GUI on that runs at avg 8500H/s, observer says the same thing, im on am old version of p2pool but I just got my first payout. (This pc just finished syncing yesterday). So im thinking the out of date p2pool really isnt the issue. Is this just the worst luck? Any advice on where to look for definite answers? (24M) Just reached 100k NW, looking to leanFI

<a target="_blank" href="Throwaway for obvious reasons and also because I want to share this with someone else other than my dad.Hey, I wanted to share that recently I (24M) reached a NW of 100k eur. I am from Central Europe, think a country with average monthly wage of 1.5k eur. I started working in software when I was 17 and have been working on and off since then. I have not been to uni yet. I spent a year working as a bike messenger recently, making very little money, although having quite a bit of fun.I am especially happy that I reached this goal at 24 even though I had no income from my labor from mid 2022 to mid 2024 due to health issues, and then very little income from mid 2024 to early 2025 due to bike messenger work. During this time however the private fund of a trading company I used to work at appreciated quite a bit, which is why my NW kept on increasing even during times of poor income.Other times during my career I had a pretty high income though, often 2-3x the average wage in my country. Nowadays Im making 5k a month again, though inbetween jobs currently, with the next one already lined up.Breakdown:Private market making fund of a trading company I used to work at: 47k — to this I cant and dont want to contribute anymore. I just want to let the money in to compound. This fund used to do 30-40% years in the early 2020s, however, these last 2 years it has yielded about 10% a year. I expect the future yields to be around the 10% number. I am debating how long to keep the money in there for, and when to withdraw it. It is a higher risk investment, so I feel like 10% return doesn’t justify the risk downside, however I am comfortable with leaving the money there for the next couple years at least. My initial investment to this fund was 15k in 2022. Brokerage: 38k — 95% in VWCE. To this I am contributing monthly as much as I can. My IBKR account had a one year anniversary this week, so I’ve managed to invest exactly that amount since for reference. With the current job situation I can contribute around 2.5-3k a month. I want to squeeze as much compensation from software work as I can as we dont know how this AI thing will play out. Cash: 14k — will be moving in to a rented flat with gf soon so need a lot of cash for deposit, etc. I tend to be a bit more conservative and keep more money on me due to the way I was brought up. It’s usually at most 7-8k in cash including the 5k emergency fund which I think is fine. After we move in and pay for everything, I will invest an additional 3-4k from this asap. I also may be in debt a couple thousand to the social/health insurance companies, so I am keeping a buffer for that too. Crypto: 2k — BTC and XMR. I am happy with this being at most 2% of my portfolio. Maybe even that’s a bit too much. I like digitial privacy hence a small Monero stash. BTC because it’s BTC, I set up a small DCA weekly and just forget about it. Monthly expenses: usually at most 1.5k eur. I don’t think I’ve gone over since I’ve been tracking my expenses. I live with my gf currently. We split rent 50/50, however I pay for approx 70% of our expenses when eating out, etc. I am fine with that. I understand this will increase once I have kids, which I do want, however, I still have at least a couple of childfree years before me.Goal: lean/coast FI asap, then see where life takes me.Kids: yes want to, but at earliest in late 20sMostly I just wanted to hear what others think, if there’s someone in a similar position aiming for FI(RE). Also I’d love to hear opinions on how to handle the private fund money as well as when should I expect my investment growth overshadow my contributions. My calculations say that I am approx 20% in to lean FIRE. Even though I work in office I am quite an adventurous person, I took time off to hitchhike/couchsurf/bum around a couple of times already. I’d like to reach lean FI as soon as possible to enable me to take more of these random jobs rather than being stuck inside in front of a computer. I like tech and am fine with my job, often it can be fun/interesting, however I find real life and nature even more fun. Thank you for reading." title="(24M) Just reached 100k NW, looking to leanFI">full image</a> <strong> - Repost: (24M) Just reached 100k NW, looking to leanFI</strong> (<i>from Reddit.com, (24M) Just reached 100k NW, looking to leanFI</i>) <br><blockquote> Throwaway for obvious reasons and also because I want to share this with someone else other than my dad.Hey, I wanted to share that recently I (24M) reached a NW of 100k eur. ChangeNOW (changenow.io) is a scam platform. Do not use it for any exchanges. They will withhold your funds without any reason.

<a target="_blank" href="Hi everyone,I am writing this post to warn the entire crypto community about ChangeNOW (changenow.io). If you value your hard-earned money and data privacy, please stay far away from this platform. They are running what appears to be a textbook selective scam under the guise of an "infinite compliance review."Here is the exact timeline and breakdown of my ongoing nightmare with them:The Transaction: I received my hard-earned work remuneration in USDC (a fully traceable, transparent stablecoin). Due to privacy reasons, I decided to use ChangeNOW to swap my USDC into Monero (XMR).The Freeze: Immediately after they received my USDC, their automated system flagged the transaction and held my funds hostaged. It has now been over 20days (approaching 18 days total dispute time) with absolutely no resolution.Full Cooperation: They requested verification, and I complied. I provided them with the complete, unredacted chat logs proving the 100% legitimate commercial source of my funds. The Double-Faced Game: On Trustpilot, their public relations team openly replied and acknowledged that I successfully "provided the requested documentation and information for your case." However, inside the private support ticket, they are playing a shameless psychological game. An agent named Emil just sent me another ridiculous copy-paste template telling me to wait another "5 business days", while Compliance Officer Christina states they "cannot provide a timeline" for the review. The Core Compliance Flaw of ChangeNOW:I am NOT even asking to complete the exchange to Monero anymore. Since they deemed the trade high-risk, my explicit demand is a Return-to-Source Reversal of my original USDC deposit back to the exact originating transparent address that sent the funds.Under global FATF and AML guidelines, reversing a rejected transaction back to its exact originating transparent address carries ZERO integration or laundering risk for an exchange. They will withhold your funds without any reason.</strong> (<i>from Reddit.com, ChangeNOW (changenow.io) is a scam platform. Do not use it for any exchanges. They will withhold your funds without any reason.</i>) <br><blockquote> Hi everyone,I am writing this post to warn the entire crypto community about ChangeNOW (changenow.io). Monero disappeared from my featherwallet on TailsOS??

<a target="_blank" href="I had .209 XMR in my featherwallet when I checked yesterday and this morning. Today before I left for work I downloaded the new security update for TailsOS and installed and restarted after getting back home. I didn’t send monero to anybody and my wallet transaction history shows nothing at all.
