Hello everyone. I came across this statement from the NANO community: 'With XNO, you don't need to spend your money to use your money.'Currently, transaction fees with XMR are approximately $0.02 due to tail emission, allowing for minimal costs per transaction. Since miners are already incentivized to run nodes through tail emission, why do we still have to pay fees? What would be necessary to eliminate fees altogether?I don't have to pay fees when using cash. Monero aims to be a "peer-to-peer electronic cash system." Eliminating fees would enhance its claim to being the best electronic cash system according to its definition.
